In 1990 Alois J. Hochstrasser realises the inter.pannon.music society, today called interpannon concert.
The non-profit society signalises the historic rooted toghetherness of the pannonian area and an interpersonal appreciation across national boundaries; and has targeted the cultural interchange of ideas of different people and nations in a common europe.
Besides the association aims to also offer low prices for their audience - under the slogan „High quality for all“.
Since its inception interpannon concert is the main organiser of the concerts of the Concertchoir Graz and the Pannonian philharmonic orchestra, who are assembled of musicians from Austria, Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia. In this constellation the ensemble realises 15 to 20 big concerts per year in Austria.
The corporate playing of music in the society, which consists of more than 250 active members, permits artistic-creatively as well as socially an intensive symbiosis of different cultures, languages and life-attitudes.
As such the ensemble of Alois J. Hochstrasser is an outstanding cultural document in South-Eastern Europe which always fills its audience with great enthusiasm.
